New Delhi. May 15, 2023. Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) today strongly condemned the gruesome attacks by Kukis militants on Meitei Samaj and it's places of worship in Manipur. Releasing a district wise short list of selected grand temples of Maitie samaj in Manipur hills, either Burnt or destroyed, during the clashes, the national secretary general of VHP Shri Milind parande today said that we are already serving the affected people, now the Hindu society needs to come forward to rebuild these temples. He appealed for peace in the area and warned against spreading false narrative that only the Churches had been attacked.
Released list of 11 big temples destroyed, comprising 4 temples of Tengaupal and Morech, 3 of Tipaimukh Churchanpur and 4 of Chingoi Ching Imphal East, is not the exhaustive one.
Shri Milind parande also said that during the unfortunate clashes between the two communities, many State properties have been destroyed. Now the Hindu society needs to come forward to rebuild the damaged/destroyed temples.
VHP appealed that Peace and restraint must be excercised and the anti national and anti social elements must be controlled. Elements and organisations trying to disrupt peace in the region must be taken to task strictly.

नयी दिल्ली। 15 मई 2023। विश्व हिंदू परिषद (विहिप) ने मणिपुर में मेतेई समाज और उसके पूजा स्थलों पर कुकी अतिवादियों द्वारा किए गए भीषण हमलों की आज कड़ी निंदा की है। मणिपुर की पहाडिय़ों में तोड़े गए मैतेई समाज के कुछ भव्य मंदिरों की ज़िलेवार संक्षिप्त सूची जारी करते हुए, विहिप के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव श्री मिलिंद परांडे ने आज कहा कि हम पहले से ही प्रभावित लोगों की सेवा कर रहे हैं, अब हिंदू समाज को चाहिए इन मंदिरों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए आगे आए। उन्होंने क्षेत्र में शांति की अपील करते हुए झूठी कहानी फैलाने वालों को चेतावनी दी, जो यह दुष्प्रचार कर रहे हैं कि केवल चर्चों पर हमला किया गया।
नष्ट किए गए 11 बड़े मंदिरों की जारी सूची, जिसमें तेंगौपाल और मोरे के 4 मंदिर, तिपाईमुख (चूरचानपुर) के 3 और चिंगोई चिंग (इंफाल पूर्व) के 4 मंदिर शामिल हैं, संपूर्ण नहीं है। इनके अलावा भी बहुत सारे मंदिर हिंसा की भेंट चढ़े हैं।
श्री मिलिंद परांडे ने यह भी कहा कि दो समुदायों के बीच हुई दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण झड़पों के दौरान कई राजकीय संपत्तियों को भी नुकसान पहुंचाया गया। अब हिंदू समाज को क्षतिग्रस्त/खंडित मंदिरों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए आगे आने की जरूरत है। विहिप ने अपील की कि शांति और संयम बरता जाए और देश विरोधी तथा समाज विरोधी तत्वों पर लगाम लगाई जाए। क्षेत्र में शांति भंग करने की कोशिश करने वाले तत्वों और संगठनों को नियंत्रित किया जाना चाहिए।
