SANSKAR

Programs are organised to preserve the tradition of the Hindu’s three major ‘sanskars’ of birth, marriage and death. Birth sanskar are conducted in orphanages. Mass or group marriages are arranged for those couples whose parents cannot afford to conduct the wedding ceremonies to fulfill the sanskar of marriage and kanyadaan. Death rituals are last sanskar done on Hindus. Those who are unable to perform these last rites due to financial constraint are helped to do so.

In short VHP’s sewa work provides value based education to children to inculcate Bharateeya sanskar through its projects from Bal sanskar vargs to schools and hostels, promotes good health through its medical projects and gyms, and brings about samajic samarasta through its various socio-cultural programs.
